When it comes to caring for vulnerable adults, it’s crucial to recognize that vulnerability isn’t confined to the elderly. Many adults in their 20s and 30s can also be considered vulnerable due to various health conditions that may impair their physical or mental capabilities. This can make them exceptionally dependent on others for daily activities, a situation that unfortunately sometimes leads to mistreatment or abuse by those who view them as burdens.

Recognizing the importance of protecting these individuals, our Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Course is designed to inform and educate caregivers, family members, and professionals on how to effectively support and safeguard vulnerable adults. The course addresses the complexities of caring for those who are unable to fully care for themselves and emphasizes the need for compassionate and informed caregiving approaches. Participants will learn about key legislation that protects vulnerable adults in the UK, including The Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act.
